Factor Structure of the Statistical Anxiety Scale among Graduate Students in Libya Using Confirmatory Factor Analysis.

This study aimed to examine the factor structure of the Statistical Anxiety Scale among graduate students in Libya using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to ensure its psychometric reliability. The 51-item scale (adapted into Arabic by Abu-Hashim, 2009) was administered to a random sample of 150 graduate students (69 male and 81 female) from the University of Tripoli and the Libyan Academy in Janzour. Using exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, the results demonstrated high validity and reliability for the Libyan context, maintaining a six-factor structural model. Additionally, the findings indicated no statistically significant differences in statistical anxiety based on gender or academic level (Master's/PhD).
